My friend Missy called last night and invited Ryanna & I to go with her & Carter to Cottonwood High School to see The Forgotten Carols by Michael McLean. They were going to go as a family but her daughter Sidney came home with a sick belly (throwing up).
Ryan texted me & told me he was taking the boys to the Rec Center. So I am sitting there enjoying the show when my phone vibrated & I didn't think much then it vibrated again that I had a text, and then it kept vibrating that someone was trying to get a hold of me. I thought maybe it was Justin (Missy's husband) because she left her phone in the car and Sidney sick at home. I finally went to the foyer, saw that it had been Ryan calling and called him. He told me that they were on their way to Heber hospital to get stitches. Stratton had fallen at the Rec center and cut his hand open on some sharp tile. As we were talking he said "Oh crap I'm getting pulled over - I'm in trouble and my cell phone is going to die." Ryan's mom & dad were on their way home from Gunnison and met Ryan at the hospital to take Brayden with them. Brayden didn't want to go because he was so worried about Stratton, but went anyways. So at intermission I called Ryan's dads cell phone & asked for an update. He text me back letting me know that Ryan didn't get a ticket for speeding, it was a 2" cut on his right hand, that they were keeping Brayden overnight, and that Ryan had his moms cellphone. It was hard to concentrate on the program, knowing what was happening and that I wasn't there but I knew Ryan had it under control. It was an awesome experience last night. Michael McLean is an amazing guy. I even ended up beating Ryan home. He said they put atleast 15 maybe 20 stitches in his hand. It was a rough night but we all survived! Thank goodness it was only stitches and nothing worse.

UEA
Well to start off UEA it was card Thursday at my mom's. Didn't win a game but I did walk away with something even better. My mom gave me her two hundred and something dollar Dooney & Bourke purse. It is the cutest purse ever. I am so excited. Thank you, thank you mom this is the only way I will ever own one. I wish I could post pictures but I can't so you'll just have to see it in person. I am scheduling appointments. Nothing planned for Friday. On Saturday we have a U of U game against Colorado that we will go to as a family. I prefer just Ryan & I but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do. Dang Kids! Oh by the way the person that is suppose to speak with Ryan on Sunday is going to be out of town so guess who the lucky dog is? You got it - ME. This is 2/2 months that I have to speak with him. I had no idea that this calling was for me too or I would have not only said "no" but "hell no" I am so mad. If you have any suggestions of something I could do to not get invited back please let me know.

I'm Back!
To sum up September it was all blah.
To start October Ryanna & I had the opportunity to go with my parents to California. The first day we took Ryanna to the American Girl Doll Store it is every girl's dream. Highlight of the trip! The second day we went to Disneyland let me just say that one day of that was enough. The third day we went to Sea World don't waste your money it wasn't worth it. And the forth day we went to Newport Beach. Ryanna has decided that she would like to move to California. I told her every night look they don't have stars here in California and she replied "but they have the beach and they don't have snow." How could I argue that point? It was so nice to get away but it's always hard for me to come back and deal with reality. A special thanks to my parents, my in-laws, Shelby and everyone else who made this trip possible!

Scripture Study
"I fear that many of us rush about from day to day taking for granted the holy scriptures. We scramble to honor appointments with physicians, lawyers, and businessmen. Yet we think nothing of postponing interviews with Deity--postponing scripture study. Little wonder we develop anemic souls and lose our direction in living. How much better it would be if we planned and held sacred fifteen or twenty minutes a day for reading the scriptures. Such interviews with Deity would help us recognize his voice and enable us to receive guidance in all of our affairs. We must look to God through the scriptures."

Life must be understood backward, but it must be lived forward.
